3 top cashback sites

What are the best money cashback sites

There are quite a few money cashback sites available today. I use 3 top cashback sites, Quidco, Kidstart and Top Cash. I have found these very reliable and they have the best cashback rates available.

What are money cashback sites

Anything you buy online, in store you can earn money cashback. Either a percentage or a set fee. From car insurance, mobile, clothes to electrical items. If you dine out on a regular basis you can either earn commission by selecting a card that you will use. You can earn up to 10% commission back. You can earn additional commission for opening a new bank account or referring friends or family.

Ideally you can access from any location, and view commissions available especially if you are out and about shopping.

Quidco cashback site

To be honest and say I love this site. I have used Quidco for money cashback for over a year and it is just so easy to use. I view this as my Christmas pot, as the commissions I earn from this site I can draw down to purchase my Christmas presents for my son.  When you have a child this does come in very useful.

Quidco cashback has improved over the past few months, as they have added Amazon to its commission structure. For me, this was the only downside of the cashback site. As I often purchased from Amazon, especially for Christmas presents.

There are several different ways you can earn a commission.

Money cashback for online purchases

When you purchase online, you can earn commission between 1% to 10% depending on the type of purchase you make. All you have to do is search Quidco for the retailer and select the relevant type of purchase you are going to make.

  • Ebay
  • Amazon
  • Fatface
  • RAC
  • Interflora
  • Booking.com
  • Expedia holidays

You will automatically be directed to the online retailer shop. Upon completion of payment, your purchase will register with Quidco. You can track all of your purchase, and see the progress before they are added to you funding account to withdraw.

There is such a variety available to you.It is important that you keep an eye out for additional savings. They often have flash sales can you can earn up to 70% back

ClickSnap your receipt and earn money cashback

This is only available with specific grocery stores, such as Tescos, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisions. Either before you shop or whilst you are shopping check out the cash back on specific deals.

Check the offer out and purchase the item in store. Scan your receipt and you can earn between 50p to £2.00 back.

Clicksnap is very handy but I have found that a lot of the items on offer are not everyday grocery purchases for me. But if you love peanut butter get £1.35 back for just buying one.

High Street retails shopping money cash back

Earn commissions on retail shopping, food, drink and travel. All you have to do is register your everyday card, either a debit card or a credit card. When you use this card at the locations selected by you, depending on the offer you can earn between 1% to 8%.

Below is a sample of some the the high street locations that cash back is available. There is not really a great load of choice on some of the retails. But when you are out for the day shopping or fancy an evening meal, there are plenty of different selection of restaurants available. It is worth registering you card for these alone to gain 10% commission back.

  • Harvester
  • O’Neils
  • Hungry Horse
  • Farmhouse Inns
  • Daniel Footware
  • Rojo

Do not activate all of the offers at once, as they are only active for 28 days. Although I have been able to reactivate again at a later date.

Withdrawing funds from cashback

There are several different ways that you can withdraw funds. Either directly to your bank account, PayPal account or vouchers.

I prefer to link my PayPal account to the sites mainly for security reasons. The money is showing in your PayPal account within moments of you transferring. You can either leave this in your PayPal account or withdraw to your bank account. To date, I have not been charged any fees.

If you withdraw funds via vouchers depending on the type of voucher you will receive a top-up of up to 25%. This does depend on the type of voucher you select. Vouchers are available for Amazon, New Look, Gap, Primark and many more. Have a good look through before you choose how you want to be paid.

Kidstart cashback

This is ideal if you want to save for your child’s future.

The same principle as Quidco but this can be linked directly to your child’s or another child in your family savings account, ISA etc.  If you are pregnant then Kidstart will hold any money you have earned until an account has been set up once your child is born. Or if you are very generous you can link your account to a school or a children’s charity.

If you have family members that would like to link their account to your child’s this will be a quicker way to help save for your child. I love this idea as a whole can help save.

The only drawback I have seen so far is that if you have more than one child how do you link both accounts. The only option I see here is if your partner links their account to another child’s account. But then is this a fair distribution of savings?

There are 1000’s of different retailers. They also offer voucher codes for additional discounts.

Topcash Money Cashback

There is a large number of retailers, utilities, travel agents available to earn cashback if you purchase via this application. As Quidco, it does take several months for your money to be tracked and added to your account. You can view your account balance at any time to confirm your items are being tracked correctly.

Money cashback with instore offers

As Quidco, if you register your credit card or current account card you can earn additional money. This is ideal if you have a large purchase to make. Currently, they have an offer of SCS Sofas where you can earn 3% cashback on your purchase. Why not make use of this offer and reduce the price of your purchase even more.

Snap and save money cashback

There is not really much choice on Snap and Save and i think they could do a lot more. Plus the cashback on these are very small. From about 15p, so Quidco is a lot better for this, plus has a lot more of a selection.

So really if you weigh up the time spent looking at the offers, scanning and loading your receipt for just 15p it is not worth it. But then sometimes every penny helps.

Money cashback with creating new accounts

If you create a new online account with retailers and you can also receive bonuses for opening online accounts.

Would you like free cash with money cashback

You do not need to spend any money to earn money cashback. Yes it is true, all you have to do is register with different companies to receive cash back. These are mainly survey companies.

I am a bit picky with completing surveys, as I have tested quite a few and often you do not receive a great deal of commission for completing a survey. Quite a few survey sites you receive coins or points, they seem to take ages to amount to any amount of money. Although this does depend on how often and the quantity of surveys you complete each day or week.

How does Topcash pay your commissions

There is a large selection of voucher to select from but if you prefer cash then your commissions can be transferred either to you everyday current account or to you PayPal account. There is no delay in transfer of funds, or any transfer fees.

Conclusion

I use all three sites, as I like to have the best cashback deal. For instance, purchased my pet food online. I checked all of the cashback rates on all three sites before I purchased. Mainly because some can only offer 1% on one site but another may offer 3%.

Although it is easier to just use one site, if you want to earn that additional amount of money, then take a few minutes to check out the cashback rates.

I do prefer Quidco and TopCashback, but this is my personal preference. I do mainly compare these two sites as I am normally on the go and the apps on my smartphone are so easy to use. Plus I often find that these two sites have the best rates, and seem to be in competition with each other.

Remember there is a yearly fee of £5.00 but this is taken from your earnings and you do not need to pay this upfront which is a bonus.

Don’t hesitate any longer, be a smart bargain hunter and get your cash back and save some money.
